Caroline Harper
Caroline was born and raised in Little Rock. She has been an art teacher for 9 years. Beyond the classroom, she enjoys traveling, visiting art museums, going to pilates, spending time with her animals, and trying new restaurants with Michael.
-
Michael Cruice
Michael grew up in the New Orleans area and currently works in Education Technology. Eight years ago, he moved to Little Rock, where he met and fell in love with Caroline. Michael enjoys running, golfing, trying new cocktails, and spending time with Caroline.
-
Levon Harper
Levon is 10 years-old and the oldest animal in the house. He hates the postman, coffee grinders, flies, and balloons. He suffers from “Grumpy Old Man Syndrome.” Don’t even think about touching his paws or his ears.
-
Ophelia Harper
From her picky tastes, you would never know that Ophelia started her life as a dive bar kitten. A friend snatched her outside of Whitewater Tavern after a show, and Caroline immediately learned that cats should not drink dairy. Ophelia has a saucy disposition, and we affectionately call her “Spicy Meatball.”
-
Emmylou Harper
Emmylou is known as Caroline’s barnacle. She is incredibly sweet and always a fan favorite at coffee shops, dog parks, bars, and restaurants. She recently placed in Little Rock’s annual Barkus Parade, winning “Best Lookalike Costume” for her portrayal of Zenon: Girl of the 21st Century.
-
Jonesy Cruice
If you ever visit, you probably won’t see him. While he may not warm up to the dogs or humans easily, he has a deep love for Reilly and his dad. He is great at hiding despite his 18-pound frame. If you ever see Jonesy in the wild, you might just mistake him for a black bear.
-
Reilly Cruice
Reilly is a classic orange cat. He’s incredibly sweet but doesn’t have much between the ears. Reilly enjoys flopping around outside and eating Caroline’s hair. He is a favorite of the neighbors and has been known to sneak into other people’s homes. Whether basking in the sun or embarking on stealthy adventures, he embodies the spirit of a true explorer.
